The Mill

Aegina, situated a stone's throw away from Athens and with regular connection from the port of Piraeus (every 30' approx.), further than a historic city and a popular tourist destination is developing to a high end suburb of Athens, as more and more people choose to live on the island and work in the city. In the ancient times used to have rich mythological tradition and holds an outstanding position in Greek history. Thousands of years of civilization are witnessed by archaeological findings and monuments ageing back to the prehistoric age. The natural beauty and healthy climate of the island constitute an ideal destination for relaxation, recreation and spiritual uplifting. Even though Aegina is small in stretching (83 sq. km.), it is characterized by diversity and cosmopolitan atmosphere. This could be a reason the island always constituted a center of attraction among artists such as Kazantzakis, Nikolaou, Moralis who lived and got inspired their works from the beauty of Aegina's natural environment.

The traditional hilly settlement of Anitseo, hosts the mill, built in 1765 that will be totally refurbished and enlarged to a unique luxurious residence.
